Growing up around Nigerian family life and religious communities, she became intrigued by the unspoken rules, strong personalities, and everyday moments that could quickly shift from simple to chaotic. Those environments shaped her voice as a storyteller and continue to influence the kinds of stories she tells. Her work sits at the intersection of comedy, culture, and faith. She uses humour to explore the tension between intention and outcome, especially within deeply structured spaces like family and church. Beneath the comedy, she is interested in the humanity of her characters - how they navigate expectations, misunderstandings, and the desire to do what's right.

Through film, poetry and writing, including projects like Church Chaos, she aims to present Nigerian culture in a way that feels honest, layered, and relatable. Her goal is to create stories that not only entertain, but also reflect the nuance and reality of the communities they're rooted in. She also writes poetry under the pseudonym Prince Nereid, where her work turns inward - focusing on emotion, stillness, and introspection.
